While we call the EA117 Tanklock tank bag as “for enduro motorcycles,” it is equally at home on all bikes, as long as you fit the correct fuel tank flange.

Usage experience:

The GIVI EA117 Tanklock tank bag was recently put the test during the GIVI Malaysian Adventure 2019.

The 10-day. 2000-km ride took the GIVI Explorers through Peninsular Malaysia in hot and humid weather.

The tank bag was welcomed by the participants as they could access their belongings quickly, such as wallets, smartphones, passports, cameras, documents, rainsuits. A journalist during the ride even carried his hydration pouch in the tank bag during the tour. He later remarked that he was also able to carry his DSLR camera and flash additionally.

However, the Tanklock system was received with happiness by the marshals, who undertook the duty to refuel the nearly 40 motorcycles during the ride. The system held the bag stable even during high speed runs and hard cornering.

The EA117 is not waterproof yet help up rather well under heavy rain when certain participants left it on their bikes during an overnight rain storm.
